NOMADE is the story of a non intrusive object with identity for nomadic people such as students. An identity that evolves with its owner and places where it's built.

The project was inspired by the Open Design philosophy from Enzo Mari and more recent initiatives such as "Recession Design" or "OpenStructures" by Thomas Lommee. The shelving system is made of industrial standard components and allows easy construction and fixing by anyone, at any time and anywhere at an affordable cost.

NOMADE was designed for "Let it Open", an exhibition about how contemporary designers work is changing when sharing acquired knowledge.

NOMADE was also presented at "Fablab.OpenSource design" - Milan Design Week 2012.
